Temples of Singapore Continuing our journey to Buddhist sites throughout Asia brought us to Singapore. Buddhist temples and Buddhist Centers of various schools are spread out all over the City of Singapore. Following our tradition from our other temple web sites, we feature them here in the order we visited them, thus not giving one temple priority over another. The largest and most important temple might be the last one on our list or vice versa. We followed no real writing convention, but used the English equivalent of temple names we found in our travel guide and map. Since we have been more familiar with the Theravada Buddhist tradition, we apologize if we made a mistake in what we wrote about the following temples. Our information was obtained in the various temples and from conversations we had with people in the temples and Buddhist centers. We have also visited a few temples where no photography was allowed and will not include them on these pages.
