Temples of Singapore Nan Hai Fei Lai Guan Yin Temple
The Nan Hai Fei Lai Guan Yin Monastery is not covered in any guide books. We also didn't plan to come here during our visit. We were drawn here as part of the many miraculous paths our live provides us with. We just strolled in and had a look around and met some of the most wonderful people Singapore offered. In a long talk to one of the staff members of the temple I learned about the temple itself and that Guan Yin's birthday would be celebrated a few days later. So, I came back and observed the ceremonies and prayers, was invited to lunch with the venerable abbot of the temple and met more wonderful people who then showed me other temples and some of the Buddhist Centers covered on these pages. A small temple in a side street of Singapore with a beautiful image of Guan Yin, which we will surely come back to again. ..........
