Temples of Singapore Leong San See Temple
We visited Leong San See temple during our walking tour through Little India. It is a Taoist temple, dating back to 1950. The founding fathers of the temple actually came from Fujian province in China in 1913 and had with them some of the statues on the roof as well as a statue of Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. A shrine for the four-faced Buddha, as Phra Phrom or Brahma is called in Singapore, is located in the open courtyard of the temple. .........
