Temples of Singapore Tan Si Chong Su Temple
Nestled between Chinatown and the Central Business District is the picturesque Tan Si Chong Su Temple. It is right next to the Singapore River, close to Clarke Quay. Dragons, Lions and red lanterns are the most visible decorations when first entering the temple. But there is a lot to see and experience. A friendly elderly man told me that the temple has been here for more than 130 years. It is very well taken care of and there is no tourism at this quiet temple. ............
