Temples of Singapore Amitabha Buddhist Society
The Amitabha Buddhist Society is also in Geylang, towards Eastern Singapore. This one is different from the Center with the same name a few blocks away. The Society is connected to the Pure Land Study of Buddhism by the Venerable Master Chin Kung. The modern building features a great library on the ground floor for anyone who is interested in Buddhist literature, CD's or DVD's. There is an extensive selection of English language books available. Donations are appreciated. On the upper floors is the mediation room where worshippers can sit in meditation and enjoy the wonderful atmposphere around the main standing Buddha image. The Amitabha Buddhist Society is just across the street from the Mahaprajna Buddhist Society. ........
